J&D FURNITURE warrants our furniture to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of one year from the date of delivery or pick-up. The warranty is limited to the original purchaser with a receipt. Warranty service will be provided without charge for merchandise brought to our service center – Unit 11 Ballinacurra Business Park, Midleton, Co. Cork. At your option we can provide in-home service at a normal trip charge. The trip charge will be waived for merchandise delivered by J&D FURNITURE. Visible surface damage (scratches, nicks, tears, etc.) are not covered under this warranty unless reported within the first seven (7) days of delivery. J&D FURNITURE is not responsible for visible surface damage to product that has been picked up from our service center unless it is noted at the original time of pick up. The warranty is VOID if the merchandise has been moved from the original delivery address or if J&D FURNITURE determines the furniture damage was caused by abuse, negligence, accident, or if used for purposes other than those intended, such as commercial use.
Returns & Exchanges – All purchases, with the exception of special order items, clearance items, and floor samples may be returned to our service center within 14 days of receipt for a full refund minus original delivery or shipping fees. Merchandise exchanged for same items due for reasons other than manufacturer defects will be subject to a 10% restocking fee and re-delivery and / or shipping fees. A J&D FURNITURE representative may select reasonable replacements for items that have been returned under terms & conditions of warranty. All exchanges or returns, except for manufacturer defects, are subject to re-delivery and / or shipping charges. Refunds are given after second exchange and may take up to 15 business days for processing.
All J&D FURNITURE merchandise is warranted against manufacturer’s defects. Proof of purchase is required for exchanges or warranty service. Clearance items and floor samples are not warranted. Normal wear and tear or damage from customer use is not warranted. For example, fabric and leather may naturally fade or deteriorate with extended use. Softening of a cushion core or loss of cushion crown is also typical with use. These normal conditions are not manufacturers defects and are not covered under this warranty. We will promptly repair or replace, at our option, any items that are defective. Our warranty is non-transferable. Any damage upon delivery must be noted on the delivery receipt. Damage not noted on delivery receipt will be determined to be customer damage, and not warranted. Visible defects or variance to order details must be brought to our attention within 7 days of delivery. Issues not presented within 7 days of delivery will be considered acceptable and will not be warranted. No warranty work or exchange processing will be completed on upholstery or leather items unless these items are clean.
Measure To Ensure Fit – You are responsible to ensure that your new furniture and accessories will fit in the desired room, as well as through doorways, stairways, elevators, and hallways. Items that do not fit into your home and are refused are subject to a 10% restocking fee and customer will be charged a new delivery fee for replacement merchandise. A return shipping fee may apply.
One (1) Year Warranty
- Under conditions of normal usage, the store will conduct repairs on any defect in workmanship without any charge to the original purchaser for a one year period from the date of possession of the original purchase.
- If the item can’t be repaired to factory specifications, the item will be replaced with the same or comparable merchandise.
- If the same item is not available, the store will issue an IN-STORE CREDIT for the return of the furniture.
- The store will not perform work or repair any furniture which may cause a hazard to our employees or our property.
